Based on the comic strip, Huey and Riley Freeman (both voiced by Regina King) move away from the city and out to the the fictional, quiet, and mostly white suburb of Woodcrest with their cranky grandfather (voiced by John Witherspoon). Biting socio-political commentary ensues.
